Managing your Profile

You can manage your Daikin ID by logging in on a Daikin application and navigating to the profile section.

In the profile section you can:

  • View, complete and edit your personal information or delete your profile
  • Change your security settings including resetting your password
  • Adjust your preferences for marketing communications

In the profile section you are able to change your email address*. Before changing your email we do a check to see if the email doesn’t already exist in our database.

When all is in order, we send you an email to verify the email address. You can use your updated email address during your next login. In case your email wasn’t verified yet, a new email will be send.

 

*Professional accounts can’t update the emails themselves and need to contact their sales responsible at Daikin.

You cannot delete all data provided previously because some applications require the data you provided to function correctly.

In the profile section you can request to delete your account*. After a confirmation your account will be deleted within the hour.

 

Important to keep in mind:

Once your account is deleted you might lose access to important services (for example managing your extended warranties).

If you have deleted your account and changed your mind, please contact our service team so they can help recover as much as possible from your account.

 

*Professional accounts can’t delete their own accounts and need to contact their sales responsible at Daikin.

Managing your Organization

By managing your organization by yourself, you are able to quickly adjust information for you or your colleagues (members) without the need for contacting Daikin.

  • Quickly add new members to your organization to grant them access
  • Remove members that have left your organization
  • Maintain access levels to Daikin applications for each member

To manage your organization you will first need to have a professional Daikin ID (in case you don’t have one, read “Request a professional Daikin ID”) that is also assigned as delegated admin.

 

Delegated admin is a role that can be given by Daikin to individual(s) from your organization that have the permission to manage members of their organization.

When visiting the Customer Portal you are able to see a “my organization” option in the Me-area (clicking on your initials). When you click on the option you will be redirected to a console where you will see a list of all members of your organization.

 

If you don't see the "my organization" option that means you are not a delegated admin for your organization.

Give members of your organization a Daikin ID by clicking “invite member”.

You will be asked to provide some information including:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Email address
  •  Phone number
  •  Language

After pressing “invite” the person will receive a welcome email with an initial password that can be used during the first login.

 

If the member cannot find back the welcome email, you can send a new one by clicking on the member and press the “resend invitation” icon.

To remove a member from your organization you can follow these steps:

  1. Click on the member you want to remove
  2. Press the trashcan icon
  3. Confirm you want to delete the member

Removing a member will make sure that person will no longer be able to see any data related to your organization. If the person was not linked to any other organization, then access to all professional applications is blocked.

 

In case removing the member is not required (for example a temporary leave), you also have the option to suspend a member by clicking the “suspend member” icon. This has the same result for the member as a deletion but you will be able to easily reactive the user without starting a new invitation.

You can manage access to certain functionalities for Daikin applications by pressing the “manage access” icon for a member.

You also have the option to send a reset password email for a member in case of issues.
